Hey all. I just started playing again after a break and something seems to have changed. I am at Baron in the Empire and now have enough to progress to the next rank but don't see any of the promotion oppertunity missions that used to handle that. How do I get my new rank?

No excuse for the Viper IV. Stick with the III and then move on to a Cobra III. Cobra IV is another one to pass on. Utter piece of crap. These incramental "upgrade" ships kill what was good about the previous without going far enough to justify the alterations' down-sides.
