Discord just needs an email address, password, and username to sign up. On the Mobius discord, you are allowed to change your nickname displayed there at will. It will show your "real" username if someone tries to "mention" you in their window before hitting send, or if they dire...

The mission spawn rate at Avik seemed equally low to me, and many of them were deliveries to Hutton Orbital. I was desperate enough to do one of them. :-O

Grinding Sirius missions in Avik and Procyon. Got bored trying to mine my way to Allied. Probably 30% more 'til allied. Maybe less. Sothis and Ceos have a Sirius Corp presence, though usually not as many missions as the other factions. You'd have to fly back to Avik for the invite mission after hit...

I think having someway to tie forum users to discord users would be great, but may not be worth the effort. Just wondering if that would end up storing the discord username in the forum user table, or the forum username in the discord user list, or both? I'm sure Wolf would agree with me that sounds...

Ok, and then you just have to make it retrieve the invite link via the API stuff in the link above when that code passes, else maybe display a message telling you to sign up? That makes sense.

I have to admit I'm not completely following what's going on in that API link. Seems like that would have to be a very from-scratch implementation.

That api would just control the invite link for new users, right?

I don't think we'd want an auto-ban at the moment.
