Eagle - it's the best looking ship in the game imho, plus it's incredibly fun to fly. While it has peashooter weapons and paper armour, it's maneuverable enough to have a realistic chance of beating NPC Anacondas.
Welcome! It may take some weeks to find a control setup that you like. As you can see, there's many, many different things that you can assign a button to, and just figuring out what they all do takes a while. (I'm still figuring them out after 1+ years!)
