Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Nice and one of them is a friend of my that I got to join up, poor guy was constantly getting ganked in open play and was about to give up till we started talking and I pointed him towards our group here now he's having fun.

I maintain that this should be adressed by FD. It is obvious to me that Elite: Dangerous should have a dedicated PvE mode. I wonder how many give up on the game, without ever knowing of Mobius group?
