Re: Minimum requirements for laptop

Well.. It all started with node size, that you seem to hold as the only valid performance per watt indicator, which downright made me know you know nothing of the manufacturing side of things. When i mention "front end fabs".. apparently you do not know that term either? well.. If you work...

Re: Minimum requirements for laptop

Nice post but SoCs are not all a one chip only solution. Many use support chips or systems are made of several SoCs. Not every company has the means to design and make their own homebrew SoC. You talk only of computer processors, i don't :) Just look at your smartphone, or your car electronics. You ...

Re: how do you control the game

that's GG ^^ Regarding non-VR sessions, if your monitor has VESA mounting threads, you can use one of these babies for example : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Single-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable-Computer-Gas-Spring/dp/B07MGX5S3P/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=1703V16QVOZZR&keywords=monitor+arm&qid=1559756688&a...

Re: Torpedos in Mobius PvE

Torpedoes with reverberating cascade effect will annihilate any shield generator.... if you ever get to hit with them.
They are good if you surprise your opponent at close range, which is not the case when you get interdicted.

Re: Federation A to B to A Cargo Missions?

It's usually courrier missions there during boom state.
When i finished my federal rank there, with the new missions server, i was usually able to stack at worst 10 or 12 missions, often a full board at each go.

Re: Federation A to B to A Cargo Missions?

Ceos/Sothis is the obvious one, if there's boom state going on (it's usually contantly the case)

Re: Thinking of throwing the towel in

Smaller ships are funny to use, maybe because of their limitations. The biggest i tend to use is the Krait MK2. I recently refitted my Sidewinder with the new engineering and some guardian goodness. It's pretty badass taking down an Anaconda, almost never being in its line of fire.. bit of "now...

Re: Anyway to make more than 80 mil an hour?

I just made 100M today in about an hour, only found two Opal asteroids. the rest was like grandidierite and alexandrite. Not rare to do 140 - 150 when RNG stops throwing bromellite my way. Maybe you'd need a faster ship to cover more ground for deep core mining? I tend to boost constantly while spam...
