Thought I'd check the CG at Volungu yesterday, so flew there with my Vulture, entered a warzone and chose faction (For the Empire! HUZZAH!!) just to be dusted within seconds by a CMDR and his Feds friends ... while the rebuy popped onscreen I went to this forum to re-check, seems that for the CG one...

Another problem with that is that you'll have to KWS the attacker while he's attacking you and tries to avoid getting targetted. This makes KWS harder then neccessary. Sell the Viper (sell upgrades first, then ship!), hop into your Cobra and move to a system that sells a Vulture + upgrades.
