Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

Well, it is actually quite easy to differentiate the planets, if you listen to their "singing". Zoom to the planet in question in the System Map and listen. Each planet type has its own "song". If you hear birds singing, then you hit the jackpot. You just found an Earth Like Worl...

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

Here's links if you want to try it out. EDMC http://edcodex.info/?m=tools&entry=150 HabZone http://edcodex.info/?m=tools&entry=432 Honestly, if you're happy with EDDiscovery, it would probably feel like a down grade... EDMC/HabZone is great for finding valuable planets but that's all it doe...

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

Have you tried E: D Market Connector/habzone? If so, how do they compare? I really love the simplicity of habzone and it does just what I need in it's little corner. I have it running in a transparent overlay in the upper right of my screen. I just jump in, scan the star, and habzone gives me a rea...

Re: Diamondback explorer or Asp Explorer

I enjoy exploring with my DBX even more than in my ASP X. The Diamondback is lighter, easier to manoeuvre, and I am at nearly 51 ly jump range fully loaded for exploration. I did some enginering to both ships, but my DBX still seems to have a much better jump range. A lot of it may just be perrsonal...

Re: Where Does Everyone Hang Out?

Unless I am back in the Bubble for repairs and refitting, I am usually hanging somewhere out there in the void, alone, listening to the voices of the stars:

Re: will you support your group player faction poll?

Is there a way a (mostly) lone explorer can help?

Such as, when I will have finished the Engineers grind with my exploration data, would selling the data at one of the OoM controlled stations help the faction, even if I am not pledged to it or anything?

Re: Please introduce yourself.

Hi everyone, Commander Watchdog here. I am a man, seeing the 40 drawing near much more clearly than the 30 fading away behind me. I come from the Czech Republic. I used to play games like the original Elite and Moonfall on my Commodore 64 and since then I am a space game fan. I am an ED Kickstarter ...
