Re: Any miners? Or future miners?

A little update: the matchmaking disconnect bug is making mining very frustrating again right now.

I'll park my Python waiting for a fix, back to tradeconding.

Re: Any miners? Or future miners?

Just tried the new mining features of the new patch... Still getting into this. What exactly are the 'new features'? See my other answer to you. :) I might add that now if you shoot a prospector drone in a 'roid it will generate FAR more chunks. So the process is (at least for me): 1: flip around f...

Re: Refinery since 1.4

Hi folks, someone mentioned that Refinery usage was somewhat simplified since Update 1.4. I don't know much about mining at all but was planning to do some in my T7 after returning home from my Voyage. Can somebody please explain what was made easier there? Cheers! Easy enough. :D Before 1.4 you ne...

Re: Any miners? Or future miners?

New to mining...are metal rich rings worth mining? They are not, IMHO. Look for pristine metallic rings (around planets) and avoid asteroid belts. Avoid RES sites on the rings, too...just drop out in the middle of the ring and start mining. :D Just tried the new mining features of the new patch...1...

Re: Any miners? Or future miners?

Ok, I got flu...and that's why I'm planning a relaxing mining session for the next few days. :D But...I cannot a find a pristine metallic ring (or at least major reserves) close to Apurui. I parked my conda there and I'm going to outfit a mining Asp in Eravapa. And I'm too lazy and sick to jump all ...

Re: Today's trade run

It dips quite rapidly for outposts too with my 200t Python, that's just what trading in imperial slaves is like I guess. And of course if you like me dig the routes out of the public databases then it's very likely you are not alone on that route, and it doesn't matter wether we play solo, mobius o...

Re: Today's trade run

I recently prepared a tradeconda as a secondary ship (my first one being "Avernus", a Python) to speed up a little my income and...geez..being forced to trade with no outposts is a hell. All the good trade routes I could find involving Imperial Slaves went dry in a day or so, and the major...
