One poster mentioned that the ESS usually spawn more than 500ls from the star. Look at the orbital plane of the system and head away from it in a 90 degree angle, ie. into the void. That's where you'll find them. The hot area is 500 to 700ls, go back and forth. Never failed on me, always got isolat...
