Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Just joined today and got the group invite approved in game. How do I join the game in one of the sub groups under Mobius while in the Friends and private groups while in the game menu?

I noticed there are a ton of groups under the Mobius one in game. How do I know which one to join?

Just returned to the game since playing for a month back in March. Looking forward to joining a group this time, a PVE based one.
How long does it take to get approved in game to join the private group?
How many people does the private group instance hold?
