Re: Mine Launcher

If your goal is to just bugger off after an interdiction, chaff helps a lot!
I think NPCs almost exclusively use gimballed weapons, so just throw some confetti.

Re: Tortuga! Your input/support appreciated.

I actually pitched that idea in the "why are you playing solo" topic earlier. :D Id love to see pirating allowed, provided they stick to the "pirate code". I guess it would look like this; - Give your target atleast 10 seconds to figure it out. - If the victim claims he has no ca...

Re: Any miners? Or future miners?

Well, they say they'll be one time use if they're targeted at something, but if they're not targeted at anything, they'll catch everything they can until they die. If they could grab 20 chunks before that happens, that wouldn't be too bad. That actually sounds a bit more tolerable, though I could s...

Re: Mine Launcher

I havent used them myself, but considering how little damage they do when im chasing a cobra NPC that has these (I fly into them on purpose, pretty little 'poof'!), I wouldn't count on them stopping anything from chasing you. They could slightly annoy a sidewinder.. that has no shields.

Re: Landing your ship for the first time.

Flying a glass shoebox (T6 without shields), then figuring "Lets try autodocking, that should be a safe bet"... never again.

Re: Need more CMDRs at RES Farm!

I had a couple little flies come up from the boulders to snivel at my two silver canisters. ;) The honeypot works. RES farming in general has been a bit disappointing here though, big ships seem a bit of a rarity in this system. Plus ol' viccy the conda is out there turning anything nearby into spac...

Re: Some advice requested.

Question, if you get a 10% discount, are you also paid 10% less when you sell them, is it better to sell them at another station to get the full amount, or doesn't it matter? That is an extremely good point, actually. As for the vulture being a freaking mini deathstar, yes. The way it screw...

Re: Anyone here have experience with DIY head trackers?

Normally when theres a processing program involved it may induce a minute bit of latency, but if it straight up installs as a joystick its gonna be pretty lag free.

Re: Some advice requested.

Ive got an A rated vulture and a trade optimized T7 sitting in dock, along with another 25 mil in the bank. All together it should be good for almost 60 million spacebucks, and ive got access to jameson memorial (10% off everything). Would it be worth it to trade all of them in for a python and even...
