Re: idiotic question - Logitech Extreme 3D Pro

Thank you so much. I didn't appreciate that this was an option, so I will give it a go. Much appreciated all.

Re: idiotic question - Logitech Extreme 3D Pro

When are you being asked for the file? Is it when you connect your flightstick to the PC, or does it come up after you launch E-D? If Windows doesn't recognize your controller, you may need to download the drivers for your flightstick from Logitech. Hello, and thanks so much for the reply. The ques...

idiotic question - Logitech Extreme 3D Pro

Hello all I'm very excited, as I have finally built a new computer system and purchased Elite Dangerous (through Steam). I've had a few training sessions using keyboard/mouse, and I am hopeless. I am hoping that my existing Logitech Extreme 3D Pro will help me a bit with maneuverability (particularl...

Re: Brand new user - seeking system spec help

Thank you again, TorTorden. I'm talking myself in and out of a 144Hz 1440. I think that (from a future-proofing perspective) I will regret not making the investment. Re: Brand new user - seeking system spec help

Thank you SamTargaryen. 4K is a bit beyond what I need, I believe. Elite Dangerous will be the only game I play, and otherwise, my computer use is limited to standard Office applications, browsing/surfing and some Netflix streaming. I haven't done any research on 4K pricing but I am guessing that th...

Re: Brand new user - seeking system spec help

Thank you - all of you - for your very kind welcome, and for the very helpful information. Based on your replies, it seems to me that opting for a more expensive 144Hz monitor isn't worth it solely for Elite Dangerous. This would be a welcome development, given the (seeming) premium for this feature...

Brand new user - seeking system spec help

Greetings everyone I have been playing WoW for the last ~10 years and I've had (more than) enough. I am now looking for a new game to play, which will have a more mature feel to it and which won't demand as much play/grind time (we have a baby on the way). Question 1: I have read a lot about VR. I a...
