Re: Most Engaging Ways to raise ranks / powerplay

Participate in this weeks Community Goal, join the side you want to rank up, or both. CMDRs finishing in the top 75% of participating Commanders will be raised one military rank, the top 25% will be raised two military ranks by the 14th of November 3306. If you are not already within 1 or 2 ranks co...

Re: Second Account

I just make a new Windows user account for the extra CMDR and name it the same as the CMDR name, just to help make it clearer for myself, could be anything. The advantage is never having to delete and update the EXE file, the disadvantage is needing to log into a different Windows user account to sw...

Re: PvP in CG CZ in Mobius, yes or no?

No - the PvP policy in a CZ is explicitly spelled out in the Policy tab at the top of the page. Deliberate and sustained fire upon another Commander within any PvE-space of Mobius Community groups, resulting in the destruction of a human vessel will not be tolerated, the penalty is expulsion from al...

The current state of mining.

The last build broke the Pulse Wave Analyzer for some (most) people so Deep Core Mining is pretty much out until that gets fixed. Some people are trying to figure out ways around the issues, like flying FAO in reverse to pulse but it is still badly broken even using these stopgap workarounds. Low Te...

Re: CMDR Vash Meridian

Would love to team up with others who can teach me about exploration and mining and just how to fly in general. Hello and welcome, I posted a topic in the mining section that I think can help you with some mining and flying, Deep Core mining in particular mixed with some generic flying/Elite topics.

Deep Core Mining for Absolute Beginners.

This is a playlist with nine videos covering a lot of generic topics for new CMDRs as well as the mining aspects. It's focus is on CMDRS coming out of the starting area with ~350K-400K credits that want to start Deep Core Mining (DCM). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2c0Cg39cN8&list=PLaf0RuR8BP...

Demand and Price Fluctuation Information.

There seems to be some confusion about this topic so I wanted to try and to through the three cases I know about, which to my knowledge is all. LTD and Tritium (demand based, varies in real time), Fleet Carriers (fixed), and everything else (semi-fixed with a hidden "bulk sales fee"). Work...

Re: What to do with 150 Mil?

Besides, with mining, you only spawn one potential NPC when you drop into the belt. Let that scan you and it fucks off, and you can fill your hold to your hearts content. That isn't accurate, I just captured a screenshot this morning to show this. When I drop into a ring from 1 to 5 NPCs will spawn...

Re: What to do with 150 Mil?

This is the Python I use for Deep Core mining. It doesn't support SLF but it is set up to defend itself although that largely depends on your combat rank. It isn't some ultimate combat miner and I'm sure could be improved but it won't crumble like tin foil at the first sign of combat either. I'm no...

Re: Just started mining

That's what I was doing in BD+28 413, core mining in a Python. It was LFT 65 I went to yesterday and I tried some Tritium mining in a Conda but I wasn't thrilled so won't go back, just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I think Python is king for core mining, boring and predictable but king....
