Well, several hours later & I haven't even plugged it in yet!
I've been reading. A lot.
This one is particularly useful - maybe some of you already using Saiteks don't know about this yet, so...
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26644One thing I have to say before continuing is:
What a FANTASTIC piece of kit the X-52 is
Makes my old T-flight look like a total piece of shit, for sure. The light, smooth feel of the stick & the massive range of movement makes me feel that it was £122 very well spent, even if it took me 2 months and the sale of some 'surplus to current needs' speakers to afford it.
The one tiny negative I have is that the USB lead is way too short. I have my PC quite a long way right of my game screen, and the 'parking area' for the stick (when not flying) is to the left of me, so I had to dig out an old USB hub to get enuff length to make life easy.
I'm sick of reading now, so it's time to install the drivers & software, test the functions, then try to get a first-off of a profile sorted out.
Looks like it'll be late tonight before I get to try it out on the combat sim though, 'life' keeps getting in the way

(Such as 'me pup' having some form of explosive diarrhoea this afternoon. Bloody terriers, they snap up every crumb of rubbish they come across on their travels - good job I don't have a beam laser for real around here

)
C'est la vie.
